Refund Policy

Refund Eligibility

Scholar Hub facilitates engagements between students and consultants. Refund eligibility depends on the service, stage of engagement, and reason for cancellation.

Full Refund

  • If the consultant fails to begin work within 7 days of confirmed payment
  • If Scholar Hub arbitration finds the consultant materially breached the agreement
  • If both parties mutually agree to cancel before work begins

Partial Refund

  • Payment for completed milestones is retained; unused advance is refundable
  • Refund percentage is calculated based on the proportion of deliverables completed

No Refund

  • After the service is fully delivered as per the agreed scope
  • If the student stops responding to the consultant for 30+ days
  • For platform subscription fees consumed in the current billing period

Refund Process

Submit a refund request through your Scholar Hub dashboard within 30 days of the engagement date. Our support team reviews requests within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method within 7–14 business days.

Dispute Resolution

If you disagree with the initial refund decision, you may escalate to arbitration. See our Terms of Service for the arbitration process under Malaysian Arbitration Act 2005.
