Terms of Service
Preamble
Welcome to Scholar Hub. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Scholar Hub's website, applications, and services (the "Platform") operated by [Your Legal Entity Name], a company incorporated under the laws of Malaysia with its registered office at [Your Registered Office Address].
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Platform independently. If you are under 18, you require parental or guardian consent to enter into paid engagements.
Account Registration
You warrant that all information you provide is accurate, that you are the person you claim to be, that you will keep your credentials secure, and that you will notify Scholar Hub immediately of any unauthorized use.
Verification & KYC
Consultants and other paid service providers must complete KYC verification before publishing services. Verified badges displayed on profiles indicate KYC completion but do not constitute an endorsement.
Payments & Refunds
All prices are visible before engagement. Refund eligibility depends on the specific service, the stage of engagement, and the reason for cancellation. Disputes are arbitrated by Scholar Hub's support team.
Reviews & Content
Reviews must be factual and free from personal attacks, false claims, or illegal content. Scholar Hub reserves the right to moderate reviews that violate these standards.
Prohibited Uses
You may not impersonate any person or entity, post false information, solicit payments outside the Platform, circumvent verification checks, or reverse engineer Platform content.
Intellectual Property
The Platform's software, design, trademarks, and content are the intellectual property of Scholar Hub. User-generated content remains the property of its author, subject to a limited license granted to Scholar Hub.
Limitation of Liability
Scholar Hub is not a party to engagements between students and service providers except as arbitrator. Total liability is limited to fees paid in the twelve months preceding a claim.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in Kuala Lumpur under the Malaysian Arbitration Act 2005 (Act 646), administered by the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC).
